Life in motion, at a standstill.

Thrashing in a whirlpool
The outside looks green from within
but convinced it looks greener than it really is
You refuse to swim to the shore
there is great comfort in standing back and complaining
No one can say you did not forsee the problems that come up
All thought, and no action.
Self destruction.

What could have been

So Many "What Could Have Beens"
Buzzing Around my Head Like Bees
Irritating the Hell out of me
Making Life Trite and Lame

As if of Problems I did not have enough
I have these creatures to make things more tough

As if I was not bad enough at prose
I have to now try my hand at terrible poetry

the muse that gave wings to Keats
obviously decided to give me a miss

And you, poor reader, in the sorry throes
of having to ready my not so great verse

(yeah, I know its a bad word here, but it rhymes!)
And guess what? My heart now sings

Writing bad poetry
is what you mush try

If you feel sad and lonely
You could end being blissfully happy

:))

"Fun" Movies

Not classics, certianly. But movies that bring a smile to my face and cheer to my spirit when I really need em... Well, here goes:
1. Main Khiladi, Tu Anari - REALLY fun movie. Never liked Akshay Kumar earlier, but this movie was a laugh riot
2. Get Shorty
3. Andaz Apna Apna- yeah, totally unintellectual, lot of slapstick, and I love it. So sue me.
4. Hera Pheri - he he he. what else is there to say?? :)
5. Gol Maal. AND the tam version of the movie - Thillu Mullu. One of the few movies where I enjoyed the remake as well as the original!
6. Chupke Chupke. Yeah, I know... Its there on the other list, too. So?
7. The Year of the Comet. Some vague movie played quite often on Star Movies when I was younger - funny, romantic,. just the right recipe to appeal to a somewhat feather-brained 16-year old
8. Kal Ho Na Ho- not too often that you get to watch an Indian Movie which is so witty, so funny, and so what you see in real life! Though Shah Rukh Khan as a guardian angel was a little too much to stomach...

Where is the Spark?

Where, indeed?
It is incompatible with the way things are NOW.

Suggest a good place for a nice vacation, please?

:)) Conversation

"Put your hands on your eyes, and relax"
"Ouch. That hurts!:("
"Is this your first time?"
"No, I have had my eye-brows done several times, but it always hurts each time".

This was a real conversation, I swear. I was at the Parlour getting my eyebrows done, and screaming about it, like I always do. Almost fell out of the chair laughing when the lady asked me "if it was my first time!!" :))
